This propeller shaft is TRUE TITANIUM(TM), specifically Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V). Grade 5 titanium is a common aerospace alloy that has been used in commercial aircraft and race boats for decades. It is now affordable for the average user.
Grade 5 titanium has a minimum yield strength of 128,000 psi (880 Mpa), which means that this propeller shaft has a yield strength that is three and a half times stronger than the stainless steel prop shaft it replaces. Of course titanium is also corrosion free.
